AMWIK has been involved in documentation of its activities and those of partners and supporting organisations. The Association
in collaboration
with other women associations working in Eastern Africa countries namely Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia produced a media code of conduct on reporting child sexual abuse and exploitation. The code provides guidelines to be followed by journalists when reporting cases of child abuse and exploitation. The Code seeks to sensitize journalists on the importance of upholding confidentiality, integrity and objectivity when reporting the cases without subjecting the child to more harm and trauma.
