The African Women's Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) in conjunction with the Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) initiated radio listening programs for selected Women and Youth Groups in Wajir district. The programmes are aired on Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) radio every Saturday on both the English and Kiswahili service. The 45-minute programmes; “Crossroad Drama” aired between 11:15 am to 12:45 pm.”, aim at creating awareness on the provisions of the African Charter on Human and People’s Rights.
